Join us for Rhythm Flow at the Martha Graham School in NYC every Thursday from 7pm - 8:30pm!

Picture rhythmical ballroom dancers dancing without their partners -- solo -- but with a contemporary spin. In Rhythm Flow, we reference the rhythm and latin ballroom dance technique of chacha, rumba, mambo, swing, bolero, paso doble, and samba, and combine it with contemporary/modern dance vocabularies. Uniting the ballroom and modern dance forms, we embrace a symbiotic flow between the two languages to foster individualized, organic expression for each dancer. Structural elements of class will include floor work, center and across the floor, and choreography/phrase work. Recommended for intermediate/advanced dancers.
